Objective of Session – "Ethical Governance & Global Alliances"

The session “Science Diplomacy: Building Trust & Partnerships” aims to highlight the role of science and technology as bridges for peace, justice and global cooperation. It emphasizes how ethical governance, transparent institutions and international partnerships can foster trust and accelerate progress toward the SDGs. By aligning with SDGs 16 and 17, the session underscores the importance of science diplomacy in shaping equitable policies, strengthening institutions and building alliances that ensure innovation benefits all societies.

Ethical Governance in Science & Technology: Embedding transparency, accountability, and justice in research and innovation.

Science Diplomacy for Peace: Leveraging scientific collaboration to resolve conflicts and build trust among nations.

Global Alliances: Strengthening partnerships between academia, industry, governments, and international organizations.

Knowledge Sharing Platforms: Open science repositories, faculty and student mobility, and collaborative research networks.

Policy & Institutional Frameworks: Accreditation, quality assurance, and ethical compliance in global science initiatives.

Digital Diplomacy: Using AI, IoT, and digital platforms to foster international cooperation and resource sharing.
