Oral Presentation
Effectively communicate your research with clear and engaging visuals. Use concise slides to highlight your methodology, key findings, and contributions to science, engineering, and technology.
Tips for Success:
- Logical Flow: Present your content smoothly from introduction to conclusion.
- Visual Emphasis: Use charts, images, and infographics to strengthen your message.
- 6-6-6 Rule: No more than 6 words per bullet, 6 bullets per slide, and 6 text-heavy slides in a row.
- Clean Design: Avoid distracting animations and bright neon colors.
- Readable Fonts: Use font sizes between 28–32 pt; avoid all-caps and multiple typefaces.
- Timing: Complete your presentation within 8–10 minutes.
Poster Presentation
Showcase your research visually and engage attendees one-on-one.
Guidelines:
- Size: Maximum 2 ft (W) × 3 ft (H).
- Submission: Bring the printed poster to the registration desk upon arrival.
- Engagement: Be present during poster sessions to discuss your work and answer questions.
Virtual Presentation
If you cannot attend in person, you can present virtually through two options:
1.Live Video Presentation
- Present from a professional setting with good lighting and stable camera.
- Use reliable, high-speed internet.
- Test audio and video beforehand.
- Deliver an enthusiastic and natural talk lasting 8-10 minutes.
2.Pre-recorded Presentation
- Record your slides with voice-over in MP4 or PPTX format.
- Keep narration clear, engaging, and around 8–10 minutes.
- Speak naturally, avoid reading slides verbatim.
- Use demos or annotated visuals for clarity if applicable.
- Submit your recording by the deadline provided in the presenter portal.
